The Importance of Before & After Photos
One of the golden rules of beginning with us is that you must take before when beginning your ProFitness transformation.
Although we follow a very detailed measurement system when taking body fats I still feel that before/after are the greatest indicator of progress. Your before photo will mark the beginning of an important transformation in your life. It will mark the existence of a new YOU!
Looking back, I wish I would have known enough to take before of myself when I began weight some 15 years ago. It’s never too late, though. At ProFitness Ireland we are now constantly taking of ourselves and our clients because our bodies are always changing and we want to see those results!
Many of our clients come in with the initial fear of having their before photo taken but once we reassure them of the benefits they understand its a big motivating factor for their continued progress. Taking regular “after” is essential – You should take your at the same time of the day, in the same place, and in similar clothing women – sports bra and shorts, men – shorts. I recommend you take your after every week or two but no later than 3 weeks.
The “after” are great motivation to keep pushing yourself every day/week. I honestly feel this is far greater inspiration and motivation than just measurements alone, not to mention the weighing scales which if you read my blogs regularly will know that this s the least accurate way to gauge your results. In some of the transformation below some of the people actually put on weight but I bet you can’t guess who.
